7 rds of 5 cycles for max load
(cannot rest the bar on ground except between rds, not cycles)
I.E.-You have a weighted bar of 135lbs.
You do 1 PC, 1 FSQ, 1 PP, 1 BSQ, and 1 PP; then repeat that 5x, not letting go of the bar. You can then let go of the bar after cycle 5 of each rd. You then add more weight for rd 2 of 7!
Post max load to comments
(max load is determined by the heaviest round you completed WITHOUT letting go of the bar)

ReplyDeleteI thought the bear complex was 5 rounds, each round consisting of 7 cycles of 1 power clean, front squat, push press, back squat, push press...not 7 rounds of 5 cycles?

ReplyDeleteSam,
ReplyDeleteI have always seen and done "Bear" as 7rds of 5 cycles. However, you could do it either way and still achieve the goal, an awesome WOD!
